Christmas Decor

Christmas Decor

We finally finished Decorating the House for Christmas!!! This year we have 4 Tree's; Entry Tree, Family Room Tree, Brenton's Room Tree, Savannah's Room Tree. Each child is given there own tree to be decorated the way they want. Every year I get the kids 2-3 ornaments. The Big Tree in the Family Room is the hands off tree. Meaning once decorations are up that is where it stays.

Boogie Toes

Boogie Toes

Everyday we go into the Living Room, and crank up Boogie Shoes!! (aka Boogie Toes as the kids like to call it!) The Kids Love this song like CRAZY!!! We either play it first thing in the morning to make everyone happy... or Right before bed to get the wiggles out!! Seriously one of our favorite family traditions! :)

Ps. Its in Our Playlist if you want to listen! :)

Christmas Day

Christmas Day was really really busy this year for us!!! Alan got home from working a 16 hour shift at 7am. We started opening presents with the kids & Aunty Mallory and Uncle David ASAP, so Alan could go to bed.

I think its safe to say we had a Very Disney Christmas this year!!! Mainly because that's all our kids are into right now! :) Alan was over the moon, with his new Lever Action 30-30 Rifle. (hes been wanting this gun since 2007!) Mallory got a Red Wii!! David was fully decked out in Jordan and Hollister! (He has a obsession with clothes... naturally when he has 3 sisters!) Brenton loves his complete set of Mater & McQueen Car Toons and his McQueen Dvd player. Savannah has more princesses to know what to do with. Everyday she plays with her pottery barn dollhouse's and polka dot Pram Stroller. As for me, I have a exercise bike on back order!! ;) It was a great Christmas!!!

I was also in charge of cooking this year... I made breakfast for 10! And while everyone was napping I made Dinner for 14!! haha. Everyone had fun and everything was yummy! By the time, I got to bed I had been up for 48 hours... Next year someone else can host!! lol. I'm pooped just writting about it.

Halloween Eve...

Okay, Okay so you may be saying Halloween Eve?! Well yes!!! When you grow up in New England, Halloween is a BIG Holiday! And in The Thorpe Home, we embrace every Holiday for a time to celebrate!!! Maybe next year, I will be ambitious enough to throw a party! Above are Our Pumpkins! 1 Pumpkin for each person in our family. Alan was a wannabe vampire, Brent's was a Spider, Savannah's was a Ladybug, (after the kids costumes this year) and mine was a T for Thorpe! Below is photos of our evening...

Aunty Christy & Uncle Chris came over...

We carved Pumpkins while watching Hocus Pocus! (A Culotta Fav')

The Kids Played... They got bored with pumpkins after 5 mins.

Our kids got Halloween Eve PJ's (differnet from Halloween day pjs).
