With having to get Aunty Mallory... dyeing our Eggs took the back-burner. So we did it while the Ham was in the Oven! :)

::::Mom can we go outside yet????::::

Easter Egg Hunt
Part II

We had over 50 plastic eggs hidden in our backyard for our Easter Egg Hunt!!! I know thats a ton for 2 little kids. But don't you remember as a kid thinking, I wish there were more eggs!!! Well our kids got to fill there baskets TWICE!!! :)

So Proud of there Eggs!!!
Checking out whats in the inside...
(one kid each got a empty egg to represent that Christ had Risen)

Easter Morning

Easter Morning
Part I

Mallory & I took the kids to see HOP the night before. (Alan had to work at home, so he needed it to be quiet.) The kids loved it!! Which gave us the idea to do this...At the door we had a BIG plastic egg with a toy in it. Followed by small Chocolate Easter Eggs leading a trail to the kids Baskets in the Living Room.

The kids reactions were priceless!! They were so excited!!!
(Sorry its so dark... it was kinda early in the AM)

I know we really go Above & beyond... But for the Record let me just say each Easter Basket was under $60!! And only about $3 in there basket is candy!! Our kids only get candy in there plastic eggs!! Plus Coupons & Bargain Shopping really pays off!!

Brenton's basket had a Hatari Theme. Brenton has been falling asleep every night watching this John Wayne Classic. We found a cute Safari kit with a jeep and Rhino just like the movie. He was beyond thrilled!!! Naturally there were a few cars, cars shirt, & a movie.

Savannah had a Ariell The Little Mermaid Theme. With a Lady Bug Girl Book (she loves the series), Princess Shirt, Puzzle & Pink play dough.
