Brenton & The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day
Everything was going Great today...
We had a Pool Day this Afternoon...

| I told them to sit in the water... & this was the Reaction I got. Apparently if you cover that area, (down there) its not so bad?! haha. |
And then it happened...
Brenton: :::Brenton bent over in the Grass & when he stood up...
Sheer Panic came across his Face!::: "OWWW!!"
Me: "What?! Whats wrong?!"
Brenton: "My Bunner!!! (that's bottom) Something is biting me!!!"
Me: "What?!"
Brenton: "OWWWWW!!!" :::at this point starting to tear up:::
Me: "Come Here let me look"
Brenton: "It bite me again!!!"
Me: :::I look down the back of his swim shorts::: "I don't see anything Brent. But you def have 2 Bites. Okay... just get in the water it will get whatever is inside out!"
Brenton: :::Nod's his sweet little head & gets in the Pool and dunks:::
"OWWWWWWW!!!!!!" :::At this point bawling his eyes out!!:::
Me: "Does it sting??!"
Brenton: :::In between the crying::: "It's Biting MY PEE-PEE!!!!!!"
I drop his swim trunks!! And low and behold a big bite on his privates! I never did find it. But the way he was swelling up, I knew exactly what it was. A WASP. My Poor Brenton!!! I called for my Mother In Law. She immediately took Brenton in the house. I quickly got Savannah changed, grabbed Brent a change of Clothes, & got the benadryl.

Poor Brenton...
Kelly filled several little bags of ice. Packing them all around him, & wrapping him up with a dish towel. Brent iced for over a hour. Needless to say he did NOT want to go in the Pool anymore.
I'm not going to lie... This kind of burn't me out. Only because since we have arrived...
- Brenton has over a dozen Mosquito bites all on his legs. (the kind that swell up to half dollar size)
- Stung by a Wasp in the arm when helping me outside.
- A crazy Sunburn (even with a 50 SPF) on his back.
- A 102 Fever & Nasty Cold/Bug
- And now 3 Wasp bites in places no one should ever be bitten!!
- Savannah has also gotten a few Mosquito Bites on her legs.
- 3 Spider Bites on her arms
- A Sunburn on her back (not as bad as Brent's)
- And a Nasty Cold.
So Yes, we didn't have the best day/week.
(However once again) I am so glad, I listened to my Intuition & packed appropriately.
In the midst of a Crazy Move; I managed to pack Aloe Vera, Children's Benadryl, Mosquito Repellant, Itch Cream, 50 SPF Sunscreen, & Ice Packs!! I am Glad it isn't worse & hopefully next week will be better!! :/
