Black Friday

Black Friday

This year was a low key Black Friday. This is technically my 2nd Black Friday here. The morning was full of a thick fog that lingered all day. This is the first fog of the year. Alan tells me this will be standard from here until Early Spring. I will say it makes everything really pretty, especially the fall leaves.
This was on our way out of Our Gated Neighborhood.
We went Shopping at Walmart & Target this year. I have decided to do most of my Shopping online this year. So we mostly went out for DVD's, Music, & a few odds and ends.

We got out all of the Christmas Boxes. And packed up all the Thanksgiving things.

We decided to Surprise Savannah early. Mostly because I didn't want to hear Christmas Music after Christmas. Her smile says it all... she was sooooooo excited.
Brenton was another story... "I don't want to listen to No Justin Beeeeiber". haha.

Ricco sums up our afternoon after eating Thanksgiving leftovers...

Oh & Most Importantly... Look who's Back?!!

Thanksgiving Dinner

 Thanksgiving Dinner

This year, I inherited Alan's Grandparents Cherry Wood Dinning Table. I already received the Hutch & Buffet when we were first Married. I am sooooo excited for the final piece to the set!!!! It's gorgeous with 2 Inserts to fit 12. We will probably update the chairs over time. But for now I am absolutely thrilled.

For the Holiday's I bring out our Best China & Silver & go all out. As Alan calls it "Tiffany Style". Every year Alan lets me get something new for the Table. (These photos didn't have silverware or place cards out yet.) This year we had Alan's Family, a total of 10. I have Music playing softly, for my Thanksgiving Mix.

Food Table
It doesn't show in the Photo... but I made a Menu & framed it on the Food Table. I love Cooking & Baking. This years food selections had a European Influence.
Fruit Turkey for the Kids! It was a total Hit.
I Love Hosting, & making these Beautiful. Now off to Bed... Alan & I are going Shopping in the Morning. :)

FALL

FALL

This is the way Fall should be! Here the week of Thanksgiving!!! We still get to enjoy all of the gorgeous colors in Northern California.
My In-laws Orchards

This year we are hosting Thanksgiving. I am currently working on My Centerpieces for our Thanksgiving Table. It has proven to be a little more challenging than first anticipated. Poor Alan has probably heard me complain about how much I miss Utah Stores. hahaha. Seriously what's a girl to do without Rod Works or Tai Pan?! (Rod Works is in Sacramento aka 2 hours, & Tai Pan in my hometown Rancho Cucamonga aka 6 hours) Stay Tuned for the final Results! ;)

Northern California Part V
"Silly"

When we took these photos we couldn' help but laugh! Mostly because you can see our kids personalitys shine thru. They are so silly, and we love how much they make us smile!! :)

Northern California Part IV
"A California Fall"

The great thing about Northern California, is the long lasting Fall's. In Utah, we only have a few good weeks if we are lucky! Especially this year, it has been much to cold to go and enjoy playing in the leaves. We def tryed to make up for it at Grandma & Grandpa's.
