Alan's New Car

Alan's New Car

When we moved to California, we knew Alan needed something a little more gas friendly than a Truck. So we parked Alan's truck at his parents. And began Car Shopping for anything with better mpg. Alan even test drove a Prius!! However, he just couldn't bring himself to like it.

He finally decided on a Newer Ford Mustang. This is def a Alan Car. If you know Alan, there are 3 things that are Key when it comes to Cars. 1)It's American 2)Classic Car look 3)It has to be comfortable

So enter in Alan's 2nd Mustang!! (Yes, he has another one... one with horrible mileage a 1969 Mach 1 Mustang. That needs to be worked on over the weekends in his Dad's shop.) He is thrilled & I am thrilled for him!!! He works so hard and deserves something fun & new!!!
Going for a Ride in Dad's New Car... the kids call it "The Shark".

A New Car & A trip to CO...

Have you noticed yet how much we love Jeeps??! We finally had to say goodbye to Our 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee! It was a great car but after going thru 3 transmissions we decided it was time for a upgrade! We have been keeping our eye on this car since it debuted. Its Jeeps SUV that sits 7! So we ended up with this Beauty!! A 2006 Jeep Commander Limited! Yes I matched the color to Our House! haha. Fully equipped with 3 Sunroofs, Leather, and Boston Acoustic Speakers!! ;)

We ended up flying to CO to pick it up. It was full of adventure on Our Weekend Getaway! We went to Buffalo Bills Grave Site & Museum... and even ate Buffalo Burgers for Lunch. (Which DID make us totally sick. haha. Plus its supposedly haunted and we saw it on Ghost Hunters last season!! lol) We stayed in Vail, CO at the 4 star Beaver Creek Lodge which was gorgeous!!! And our food was amazing at Rocks Modern Grill!! 3 Course Meal and for once even though it was kinda pricey, we were served so much food for our money!!

The next day we had Ice Cream in Glenwood Springs at The Chocolate Moose Parlor. All and all it was a really fun trip!! I just wish there was more time to explore... perhaps someday! :)
