Our Dogs LOVE Car Rides. We didn't even know they enjoyed it so much before now. They never went on many rides in Utah, unless long road trips. Lacy somehow thinks shes a Parrot, until I tap on the breaks. haha. Benson think's hes a Person, often thinking he needs to sit in a chair. Ricco is usually found trying to look out the windows. It kind of feels likes a mini circus when going to & from School. :/

Meet Ricco

Meet our new Puppy, Ricco. He's a Chorkie. Half Yorkie, Half Chihuahua. We got him from the Modesto Pound. We were told he was 6 weeks old. But when he went to the vet they informed us he was well under 4 weeks. Ricco and his brother were left in a Dumpster to die. :( I originally saw Ricco's brother on the pound website. We have been discussing adding another Puppy to our family for a little while now. And wanted our next dog to be a Rescue. Brenton has been requesting a Chihuahua after his favorite Disney Movies. (Chihuahua 1,2,3) It was so sad to see a whole 2 row of animals who were rescued. It just broke our hearts. Little Ricco was the smallest and most quiet. We decided on the name Ricco, because its origins are Italian & Spanish. His nicknames so far are Baby, & Rico-la. He is very quiet but curious little guy. We just love him to pieces.

Sometimes after errands or School we stop over at Grandpa & Grandma's just to say Hi to whoever is around. Today Aunty Whitney was picking tomatoes in the Garden. Savannah jumped right in helping washing and patting dry.

Lacy Bear...

Lacy is our little girl toy poodle. She is such a sweetheart!! She is always cuddling up and wanting loves. Lacy literally lets the kids do anything they want to her. How many dogs do you know.. that let a little girl dress them up like Minnie Mouse for a tea party?! :)

AAahhhh!!!

We were being attacked by bugs!!!

This year the Thorpe Home was attacked by Bugs!!! Brenton the Spider! Savannah the Ladybug! Benson The Bee! & Lacy Bear The Butterfly! This summer our kids discovered Bugs!! Everytime there is a bug the kids are studying them out. So we thought to have a Bug theme so they could relate! All 4 of them Loved it!!!

Our dogs were groomed this past weekend. I know, how do you spend that on dogs?! Well they both were due for shots= $60 per dog. Grooming= $60 per dog. Sedated to be Groomed= $50 per dog.

Our poor dogs haven't been groomed in well over a year! It was so bad! They seriously lost at least 5 lbs each! Benson has had some major attitude problems lately so we wanted to see if this would help. The Good News it Helped a ton, like 95%! Yay for a happy dog again! However you better believe they will be groomed every 3-4 months from here on out to save us money!
