Northern California Part IV
"A California Fall"

The great thing about Northern California, is the long lasting Fall's. In Utah, we only have a few good weeks if we are lucky! Especially this year, it has been much to cold to go and enjoy playing in the leaves. We def tryed to make up for it at Grandma & Grandpa's.

Northern California Part III
"Tangled"

Aunty Mallory, Mommy, & Savannah went to see Tangled in 3D, on Thanksgiving Day. Savannah loved her 3D glasses!! She kept them on the entire Movie!!! Sitting on the edge of her seat, totally enraptured in the movie. Not to mention while munching on her popcorn from beg to end!

The Best part was when Rapunzel placed the crown on her head.. and in the stillness of the theater you hear Savannah gasp! "MOM that's a CROWN!!! Shes a Princess!!!!". Everyone giggled. She wore her glasses the whole drive home and kept saying "Oh Mom!! I just LOVE that Princess!!!". Pretty sure it was hit! Cant wait to see her reactions all over again when it comes out on Blu ray! :)

Ps. Brenton didn't miss us much because he was riding with Grandpa in the Orchard! :)

Northern California Part II
"Tractor Rides"

"Grandparents are similar to a piece of string - handy to have around and easily wrapped around the fingers of their grandchildren." --Author Unknown

Its amazing how it can never got old. The kids and Grandpa were soaking up every moment, creating wonderful memories, that Im sure our kids will cherish forever!!!

Northern California Part I
"The Ocean"

"It is an interesting biological fact that all of us have in our veins the exact same percentage of salt in our blood that exists in the ocean, and therefore, we have salt in our blood, in our sweat, in our tears. We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea---whether it is to sail or to watch it---we are going back from whence we came."
-- John F. Kennedy

I have been very fortunate to have grown up, within a hour drive of the ocean. Seriously I could care less if it was raining, snowing,... or just so cold that you have to wear a coat. It's theraputic for me. Some of my favorite memorys from childhood are on the beach with my family. Whenever we are close we take advantage of it. Even though its at least a 12 hour drive to the nearest coast, I love that my children love it as much as I do. Perhaps someday we will be near it again... As for now we soak in any little bit we can. :)
